तर्कसंगत roughly translates to “reason adjacent.” Swirling thoughts—perhaps part of the human condition—afflict me. There seems to be a constant urge to make sense of the world around me. On a planet inhabited by billions of humans like myself, all using their sensory mechanisms just as I do, what claim do I have to the truth? I can never be fully confident. Yet, I find solace in sorting the world through logic and reasoning.
The process of writing lends me a deeper quiet to these churns of random thoughts. I do not know how these writings appear to others, and I dare not claim to hold any truths. But I humbly hope they feel reasoned—or at least reason adjacent (तर्कसंगत).
I am a father, husband, son, and brother. My formal vocation is that of a physician. I am an immigrant from South Asia to a North American country.
